Expert garden design and horticulture in the New Forest
Woodland Planting
The existing planting in this large garden in Brockenhurst had become overgrown and was contributing little colour and interest. After extensive clearance and renovation, we added new shade loving, low maintenance planting for year round interest.
Secluded Patio
We created a quiet sitting area for evening drinks and relaxation in the shade. Fragrant climbers such as Trachelospermum jasminoides are trained on the trellis and a light coloured sandstone paving reflects the light so the area is not too dark.
Front Garden Path
Main Terrace
We built a curved, raised herb bed on the semi circular main terrace , handy for the kitchen. A serpentine shingle path winds through perennial planting.
Perennial Planting
The lawn required a lot of work on the drainage in this low lying area of Brockenhurst. The new planting was soon thriving however in this previously very waterlogged area.
Drivway
New planting was designed to make the most of the renovatedd house frontage. We widened and rerouted the driveway for easy access and parking.
